One month to go until the semester begins, lots of changes are happening, such as a new director, and new studies. I encourage everyone to brainstorm ideas for the new semester that you might want to see incorporated into our weekly meetings. If anyone needs anything at the beginning of the semester, help moving furniture, a ride from the airport, feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org or the campus director, we will pull strings and see how we can help. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Fall 2013 is right around the corner and our first meeting is a little over one month away, this means you can keep checking the website for fresh announcements on decisions about what we will be studying in our different meetings every week. It also means I will get to talk about our Welcome Back Party and its theme, and our annual mission trip in the fall. The trip this fall will be over at John's Island because last year we went to Francis Marion, this year, they are coming to us. Something new this fall that I do have some details on is, the morning prayer group that was mildly sporadic last fall is now going to be a set in stone regular meeting. Momma Lisa will regularly attend, and we are possibly switching to a single morning devotional for the group. This is exciting, as I love this morning prayer group and am looking forward to its expansion. Enjoy the rest of your summer, as it is going fast!

CWF once again did a fall mission trip with Winthrop Wesley Foundation at the United Methodist Relief Center
. Some of the pictures from the event are below. While at the Volunteer House I was able to put together two podcasts with the students
and Dan Nesbitt
from UMRC. Take a moment to listen. The students talk about their reason for attending Wesley and why they attended the retreat. Dan Nesbitt describes UMRC's mission to provide housing repairs in the rural areas of the low country.
