The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, is a unique campus that pushes its students towards excellence in all aspects of life. We seek to support these students on this goal, and have loved the opportunity to minister to these cadets.
We meet at the Citadel on Monday nights at 6:30 in the Buyer Auditorium of Mark Clark Hall for weekly worship. Here, we are blessed with local churches that provide a meal for our students, and we enjoy worship led by our awesome student praise band. Our students are then led with a message before entering a time of guided discussion with their table, with the assistance of our student table leaders.
On Thursday evenings at 6:30 we offer students a chance to dive even deeper in their faith through a variety of Bible Study programs. We offer a women’s study in the St. Alban’s Lounge of MCH where our female students from all campuses can grow in community with one another. Additionally, we invite our upperclass cadets to meet in MCH room 228 to nurture their faith together. Lastly, we offer a knob study in the Pipe Band Room where our freshman cadets are led to take ownership of their faith as they begin their college careers. In the Fall semester, we study the Alpha Course that allows our students to understand the Christian faith, and again be guided to deeper knowledge through a discussion amongst their table and with upperclassmen leaders.
