Domestic Missions

Each year, our students engage in a variety of local and domestic mission opportunities. These efforts include disaster relief projects, local poverty relief, and more. To learn more about our local missions, check out some of our recent projects below and learn more in our Newsletter.

Florida Keys, Winter 2018

Our team continued efforts to repair homes in the wake of Hurricane Irma. While in the Keys, they completed various repairs to help homeowners move back into their own houses and, and connected with people of all walks of life as the working hands of Christ.

Myrtle Beach DiSaster Relief, Fall 2018

In response to the devastation left behind by Hurricane Florence, our students gladly dedicated a weekend to disaster relief. Several of our students even completed United Methodist Emergency Response team Training to better lead and guide our efforts. On this mission, we were able to assist those affected by the storm by removing debris, placing tarps on roofs, and assisting in completing the initial steps of the road to recovery.

Mission Weekends

Each semester, we send students to volunteer in the local community to assist with disaster relief, home repair, landscaping, and more to give back to our Charleston community.
